Financial Therapy + Money Care Sessions

Financial Therapy + Money Care Sessions offer space to explore your relationship with money — not from pressure or shame, but with curiosity, compassion, and grounding.

Drawing on somatic (body-based) practice, the Trauma of Money framework, and principles of somatic social justice, this work helps you tune into the emotional and nervous-system patterns beneath your money story — including money shame, money anxiety, avoidance, and the impacts of financial trauma. Together, we move gently, at a pace that supports your capacity.

This is not financial advising and no financial products are sold. Instead, it’s a therapeutic, reflective space to understand the beliefs, sensations, and inherited narratives that shape how you engage with money — and begin shifting them with awareness and care.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, avoidant, or simply curious, these sessions offer a grounded, judgment-free container to explore the deeper emotional landscape of your financial life.

In our work together, you can expect to:

  • Build insight into the patterns shaping your financial decisions and self-talk

  • Increase awareness of the nervous system responses that arise in money-related situations

  • Explore the cultural, systemic, relational, and personal experiences that influence your money story

  • Practice tools for self-compassion, regulation, and aligned decision-making

Review from Olivia Shallow

“I've done three Money + Me Sessions with her and they have all been excellent, I have come out with so much value ... She creates a collaborative environment that is flexible and moves with you and whatever you'd like to explore. The way that Candice incorporates somatic practices pulls everything together. Money can be a very stressful topic but I've never felt stressed out while talking about money with her, instead I've felt heard and held and cared for and curious to explore all the nuances and effects that money has had in the areas of my life. If this kind of service is something you've thought about or something you're curious about, you'll be safe with Candice.”

  • This financial therapy series isn’t therapy or financial advising. While I’m a trained psychotherapist, this offering is not a clinical service.

We also won’t be creating budgets, managing investments, or selling financial products. This is not financial planning.

Instead, this is a coaching space where we explore your relationship with money—how it lives in your body, how it’s shaped by past and present experiences, and how you want to move forward. We’ll use somatic practices, reflection, and strengths-based strategies to help you feel more clarity, confidence, and alignment with your financial decisions.

  • Absolutely. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.

This space is designed to support you, even (and especially) if money brings up discomfort, avoidance, or shame. Through gentle exploration, we’ll look at:

    • The messages you’ve received about money

    • What shows up in your body when you think or talk about finances

    • Your values around money, care, giving, and receiving

    • Ways to reconnect with a more grounded, compassionate relationship with money

You set the pace. We begin wherever you are.

  • Start with a free 30-minute consult. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to explore and what feels like a good next step.

If you have questions before booking, feel free to email me at carewithcandice@gmail.com

You just need to be open to starting where you are.

  • Somatic practices are techniques that help you tune into your’s body’s sensations, feelings, and nervous system responses. In money coaching, these practices support you in noticing how your body reacts to money-related thoughts, emotions, or stress. This helps you build greater awareness and compassion toward your money story — beyond just the numbers. By bringing your body into the conversation, you can uncover deeper patterns and start to shift money-related overwhelm, shame, or anxiety in a gentle, embodied way.

  • Yes, I reserve a limited number of reduced-cost spots for folx who want financial flexibility. If this would make the difference in being able to access support, feel free to reach out at carewithcandice@gmail.com to ask about current availability. If reduced spots are full, I’m happy to offer a waitlist or clarity session.

  • Every session is shaped by what you bring and where you’re at. Whether you’re booking a single session or a multi-session package, this work is collaborative and responsive to your needs. For longer series, like the 3-session package, there’s often more space for tailored exercises, between-session reflections, and curated resources. My aim is to meet you with care, flexibility, and tools that support meaningful progress — not a one-size-fits-all formula.

  • Payment is required upfront for all financial therapy services. For one-time sessions, full payment is due at the time of booking. For the package, we can work out a payment plan. This approach helps to ensure your sessions effectively. Full payment details will be included in the coaching agreement provided before we begin.
