About Candice
I bring nearly a decade of experience designing and leading workshops, which has included retreats, board facilitation, presenting to leadership teams, and work with universities. As a therapist, facilitator, speaker, and consultant, I offer a trauma-informed care lens with attention to power dynamics and how past experiences can influence present participation. I include somatic practices and equity-focused approaches and relationship building activities to help groups get centered, get to know each other better, navigate complexity, and work together with care and compassion.
Whether I’m working with leadership teams, staff groups, or community members, I pay close attention to energy, dynamics of power, and moments of confusion — inviting participants into co-creation and choice. My approach affirms lived experiences, especially for BIPOC participants, while supporting individuals and teams to move from survival patterns toward connection, balance, and growth. The result is facilitation that strengthens trust, alignment, and the capacity to move forward together.
My experience spans reproductive justice spaces, higher education administration, recruitment executive search for BIPOC leaders, and community health. My EDI work includes organizational audits, supporting hiring committees, and teaching, which means I can help teams build inclusive, culturally responsive, and psychologically safe environments. I’m often engaged through word-of-mouth referrals, reflecting the trust and impact I build with the leaders and organizations I work with.

I offer individual and group coaching for leaders and professionals looking to grow sustainable, values-aligned leadership. Coaching is a supportive space to build emotional resilience, gain clarity, and lead with care—especially during times of change and transition.
Advanced notice is deeply appreciated, especially for facilitation or speaking engagements. I typically ask for 2-3 weeks’ notice to allow time for meaningful preparation and alignment. This helps me provide tailored, sustainable solutions that meet your goals and the needs of your team.
For EDI assessments, a minimum three-month engagement is required. I’m happy to share more about what this process entails and how I can support your team during an initial consult.
