Ways we can work together
Four ways to bring this work into your organization. If you’re not sure which fits, say so on the form, and we will figure it our in our meeting.
-
Best for conferences, panels, all-staff days, organization gatherings
I bring a relational, reflective presence to panels, keynotes, and organizational gatherings, intentionally disrupting the standard "lecture" format to create a space that feels grounded and deeply human. My talks bridge clinical insight with systemic reality, offering audiences a shared vocabulary to understand the invisible weights they carry. I speak on themes like moving past individual burnout solutions, centering nervous system awareness in high-stakes environments, and directly addressing the distinct institutional fatigue carried by marginalized and racialized professionals. These sessions are designed to be far more than a checklist of wellness tips—they are an invitation for groups to slow down, check in with their bodies, and shift how they orient toward collective care.
-
Best for staff gatherings of 25 - 50 participants
Designed for organizations navigating transitions, high workloads, or important events, these experiential workshops support staff and teams in managing stress, building relational awareness, and integrating reflective practices into daily work. Sessions weave somatic exercises, guided discussion, and relational learning in a spacious, grounded, and practical way.
-
Best for teams undergoing significant transition, cultural friction, or structural change
Acting as an embedded Mental Health and Equity Advisor for 3 to 4 months, I step into your organizational ecosystem as an on-deck, responsive resource for both your leadership team and staff. Rather than reacting to workplace stress after it arises, we map out a proactive plan for the season—integrating strategic advisory for HR, responsive team mediation, leadership coaching, and a curated rhythm of somatic workshops. This high-touch, short-term partnership provides your culture with a consistent, grounded clinical presence, giving your team the real-time relational tools to orient toward long-term sustainability.
-
Best for leadership teams who want an honest read on their culture
For leadership teams who want a clear, honest assessment of their organizational wellness, I conduct project-based mental health audits centered on deep listening. Instead of using dry, rigid compliance checklists, this qualitative process involves conducting intentional, trauma-informed interviews and focus groups to understand the relational dynamics influencing trust, alignment, and collective exhaustion. Synthesizing these conversations with a therapist's clinical lens and a deep appreciation for narrative themes, I produce a comprehensive insight report and roadmap for leadership. This audit outlines the invisible systemic undercurrents within your ecosystem and provides human-centered, structural recommendations to help your organization move toward better support for your team's mental health.
Partnership Process
01 / Initial outreachYou might be curious about offerings, have an upcoming event, or are looking for a way to better support your team or organization. Please inquire 4 to 6 weeks prior to your event, or 6 to 8 weeks if your session requires custom-designed material. Requests under 3 weeks may include an expedited rate.
02 / ConsultationWe'll meet for about 30 minutes to discuss your needs, budget, timeline, and organizational context.
03 / Scope and Budget confirmedI follow up by email with a short breakdown of the proposed scope and pricing. Once you confirm the range works, I prepare the full proposal.
04 / AgreementWe refine the final details over email, outline deliverables, sign the contract, and secure your dates. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date, with the understanding that the remaining balance is due the day or week the session is delivered.
05 / Delivery and follow upIf it's useful, we hold a planning check-in ahead of the date. I deliver the session, and afterward there's an optional 30-minute debrief on what came up for your team.
Candice recently facilitated the annual retreat for our non-profit's Board of Directors. Candice was great to work with - she made sure she knew what we needed, asked helpful questions, and facilitated the sessions with care and skill. I would happily recommend Candice as a facilitator for non-profit meetings and strategy sessions.
Kat Owens, Interim Legal Director
Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF)
Candice and I have worked on a number of projects together, including the development and delivery of a training on trauma informed pedagogies for professors at the University of Toronto, a BIPOC student coaching circle, and the facilitation of wellness consultations and introductory somatic practices for staff of YWCA Toronto. In all of these projects, Candice acted as a thought leader and skilled facilitator. Her ability to hold space for diverse groups navigating complex and nuanced dynamics of power and relationality is incomparable.

Questions You Might Have
-
Most organizations and teams I work with find it helpful to talk things through. I am happy to offer a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your team's general needs, timeline, budget, and any context you think might be important to share.
If there is budget alignment, I would be happy to submit a proposal. Please allow for 6 to 8 weeks before your event date when reaching out with an inquiry.
-
To preserve the experiential, spacious, and deeply reflective nature of somatic practice, standard workshop includes space for 25 to 50 particpants. This ensures everyone has the necessary support and room for engagement and relational learning.
-
Because these workshops are designed to be highly experiential, relational, and confidential, sessions are generally not recorded. This protects the psychological safety of the container and allows participants to share openly. However, I am happy to provide a follow-up resource sheet or take-home summary with key somatic practices for your team's ongoing use.
-
I primarily partner with local organizations in the Greater Toronto Area for both in-person and virtual sessions. While my main focus is local, I am open to discussing remote, virtual contracts for non-local or global organizations depending on scheduling, alignment, and capacity.
For any local, in-person bookings that require travel outside of my immediate area, standard travel expenses will be factored into the proposal.
