Body-centered therapy for cycle breakers & legacy builders
“The more that you are able to see how your emotional life is a body-centered experience, the more you will see how critical it is to integrate the body into the healing of generational pain.”
- Dr. Mariel Buqué , author of Break the Cycle: A Guide to Healing Intergenerational Trauma

Maybe you’ve noticed you’re second-guessing yourself more than you used to. Or that somewhere along the way you lost your voice. Maybe a friendship ended and you need a space to process the hearbreak. Maybe you’ve been told you’re too sensistive. Maybe you’ve been dismissed by a medical system that wouldn’t hear you or feel silenced at work. Together, we slow down to help you reconnect with what you actually know — your feelings, your body, your voice, and your sense of agency. Because your experience is real — and you deserve to trust it.

Maybe you think about money more than you'd like to admit — the mental math, the money anxiety that shows up in your body before your mind catches up, the quiet shame of feeling like you should have figured this out by now. You carry the stories of parents who sacrificed everything. Of immigration. Of instability. Of "we don't talk about money" or "we can't afford mistakes." This is the work of healing financial trauma — understanding that this isn't a personal failure but part of systemic realities, tracing the roots of what you inherited, and learning to resource your nervous system so money doesn't have to feel like a threat. Because you don't just want more money. You want a different relationship with it — one that finally feels like yours.

I support couples and duos exploring disconnection and connection in relationships. Together, we slow down to navigate communication challenges, trust issues, shifting roles, and conflict, creating space for clarity and deeper connection.
This work includes romantic partners, friends, siblings, or collaborators.

My facilitation is relational, reflective, and liberatory. I help participants connect their lived experiences to systemic critiques, affirm their instincts, and imagine new pathways — all while gently guiding them toward community and self-preservation.
I consult and partner with organizations to design trauma-informed, equity-centered learning experiences that foster connection and growth.
In addition, I offer onsite embedded mental health support services for wellness spaces with a somatic approach.

Why Work with Me
Honestly? It took me a long time to embrace that my future could include private practice and entrepreneurship specifically.
I came to this work through my own unravelling — learning to listen to my body, doing my own money work, figuring out what liberation actually feels like from the inside. I am still learning to swim as an adult, still afraid of large bodies of water — although I love the Caribbean Sea and oceans. Like many people, I contain multitudes. That's actually what this work is about — learning to be with the parts of yourself that don't quite make sense yet.
I started Liberated Care because I believe liberation is a practice — and because I know what it means to move through systems that were never built with me in mind. As a Black woman, an eldest daughter, and someone from an immigrant family, I wanted a space where that context isn't just acknowledged — it's central.
People tell me I am calm and resourceful, that I am easy to talk to. They know I'll give it to them straight. I take these as compliments.
You deserve care that gets your context. That's what I'm here for.
